Human Rights
Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every individual, regardless of nationality, gender, race, religion, or social status. These rights include the right to life, freedom of speech, education, equality before the law, freedom from discrimination, and the right to work and live with dignity. Human rights are essential for the protection of individuals' dignity and the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace in the world.
They are guaranteed by laws and international agreements, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Promoting and protecting human rights is the responsibility of all—governments, organizations, and individuals. Respect for human rights creates a more just, inclusive, and compassionate society, where every person can live freely and fully.
